Provably Fair
What is provably fair?
Provably fair is a widely used method in online gambling that lets you check every result yourself, instead of trusting the casino. Every real-money bet on CasinoWithMe works this way.
How it works
The result of every bet is calculated from three inputs, put together like this:
fair result = server seed (hashed) + client seed + nonce- Server seed (hashed): the casino's secret seed. Before you bet you see only its hash, a scrambled fingerprint of it, like a sealed envelope. When you rotate your seeds it is revealed, and if it had been changed it would no longer match the hash.
- Client seed: your own seed, mixed into every result, so the casino can't know a result before you bet. You can change it at any time.
- Nonce: counts your bets on the same seeds, so each bet gets its own result.
Once the server seed is revealed, check your bets with it in the Game Verifier (steps below).
How to verify a settled bet
- 1Click Manage Seed above, or the Fair Play shield in any game, open Seeds and Confirm Rotate Seed to reveal the server seed of your bets so far.
- 2Open the bet in My Bets, below any game or in Settings.
- 3Expand Provable fairness at the bottom of the bet to see its seeds.
- 4Click Verify bet to check the result in the Game Verifier, or copy the seeds and check it yourself.
